Science Fair

Don’t forget to bring in your entries for the science fair which will be held on Tuesday 23rd February.

The theme is ‘Flight‘ and all of your home-made projects will be collected in the hall where you will present them to the judging panel in the afternoon.

We we will enjoy part of the day exploring the science of ‘flight’ in our classrooms too.

The year  6 teachers are very excited to see all of your entries- and if kyou haven’t created one yet, you still have time to think of something- it just has to be around the theme of flight!

Message from a Mum….

Hello, I was just wondering if someone could explain the Wii to me?

I am thinking of buying one for my son’s birthday but I am not sure how it works. Is the console the actual system? What else is useful and fun that I should get? I am totally confused when I look at the accessories etc online and don’t know what to get. My son is 8 so I will need some games that are suitable for him and I am interested in the fitness thingy but don’t undertsand how that works.

Please could you experts help me out?

Thank you

Y6 First mince pies

Y6 are trying out food for their literacy to write a magazine review and they have to eat Christmas food like mince pies, a lot of people didn’t want to try it but some did. Euan (that’s me) went to try one for the first time ever! At first I didn’t think they would be nice, they’re not nice…they’re heavenly…one of a kind I can go on for ever describing how lovely they are, it’s literally a dream come true how luxurious it is and how healthy it is as well you can’t get better.  This was a festive treat.
